Dieses Video kursiert seit einigen Tagen auf “youtube.com” und zeigt laut eigenen Angaben eine bisher “unidentifizierte Lebensform” in einem Abwasserkanal(-rohr).
Es wird “the blob”, “an unknown lifeform” oder “an environmental mutant” genannt, es gibt aber auch schon weniger mystische Erklärungen dafür.

Over a million and a half people have already viewed the life form since posted on youtube.com yesterday. The pipe shown in the video is only 6 inches in diameter. Without this context the fubifex does look like the creature in the blob. The “blob,” has been identified as a tubifex worm, which grows best in wet,cold, and dark areas and is a common sources for aquarium fish food. They are common in many parts of the world and live in muddy stream beds.
Experts say the the sewer lines are generally free of tubifex worms because of frequent cleanings.”
